Finch Memorial Library will have a summer reading program titled “Every Hero Has a Story.” Kids in grades
kindergarten through 2nd grade will have a chance to see a police dog, write a letter to a veteran, check out books for their sticker chart, and to participate in a writing contest. The festivities will begin June 10th and June 17th. The will meet from 10 a.m. to 11:30. Then story hour will continue the rest of the summer.
If you are interested in helping with summer reading by doing one of the following, please contact Jessica Tickle by May 31st.
- judge a writing contest
- provide food for a snack bag for a first of summer reading. (Try to stay with fun but mostly healthy foods. No peanuts/peanut butter snacks.) Approximately 40 kids.
- Put together snack bags for first day.
- Provide food for a snack bag for the last day of summer reading. (Try to stay with fun but mostly healthy foods. No peanuts/peanut butter snacks.) Approximately 40 kids.
